I'm the support pillar, the solid rock, the shoulder to cry on, the empath, the secret keeper, the eternal optimist and hopeless romantic. I keep the world spinning for people when it seems like all hope is lost. I never give up on anyone, myself, or the world. I never want to lose sight of what's important: friends, family, and hope.
Gay Rights;
The biggest hurdle that prevents equality for all is religion.
Let me just say that I am not a Christian, and definitely not a Biblicist. I believe the Bible may teach some correct morals for our children, however I do not agree that the word is law.
We are all equal, and deserve equal rights – no one is worth more than another person.
I've been told that the bible decrees all men are equal, and then later speaks of forgiveness to all. Some preach only of God's hate.
Well, I'm sorry, but if you believe that the Bible is correct, then you don't get to pick and choose which passages you like best.
